Description
This miniature painting shows the portrait of a woman with a black wrap, with a tipped cap underneath, and a white tied collar on a black coat or dress. The old woman looks straight at the viewer, and has a slight smile. Judging from her kerchief, collar and wrap this portrait can be dated c. 1660.
