Description
This late 14th century bronze candlestick has two distinctive ‘wings’ at both sides of the socket. These wings, with v-shaped incision, would apparently be created to hang the candlestick from the wall in a protruding u-shaped bracket. The candlestick stands on tripod claw-shaped feet, with a smooth stem. The foot is decorated with two rings and has raised edge. The candlestick is an archeological find, with a green patina.
