This beautiful oak chest is richly carved in the typical Frisian way. Is is decorated on all sides, even on the base. It stands on four ball shaped feet.
The front is carved with the coat-of-arms of the city of Amsterdam, flanked by two lions, within a decorated arch. Below the coat-of-arms are the initials 'DP'.
The interior of the casket is fitted with two small compartments.
